Participants learn the value and practice of loving presence: a quality of being which allows you to fully attend to another person with compassion and gentle curiosity in a way that is nourishing to both. The format of the workshop allows time to learn and practice this specialized method of listening that leaves both speaker and listener feeling comforted, refreshed and understood.

Level III - Deepening Skills is designed to provide graduates of the Hakomi training (Level two) the opportunity to work toward certification as Hakomi therapists. In addition, people already certified as Hakomi therapists use Advanced coaching as a way to further hone their Hakomi skills. Individuals who are curious about Hakomi but have never attended a workshop or a training may also participate in these sessions as observers or clients. Cost: $300 ($250 with early registration) for therapists in training (certification candidates)

Workshop participants learn to practice offering and receiving emotional nourishment in a manner which is sincere, timely, and appropriate. Participants also explore their own habitual responses (conscious or unconscious) to giving and receiving emotional nourishment. Recent relevant research regarding the brain and attachment theory will be introduced as part of this workshop.

Hakomi Training (Level two)The Hakomi Training is available to graduates of the Personhood series. The program provides a gradient approach to learning and developing the skills necessary to become a Hakomi therapist, and offers personal development to those who do not have or intend to have a therapeutic practice. Completion of this level is a necessary step for those interested in certification as a Hakomi therapist.
